We saw a male ruby-throated hummingbird at our feeder this morning 5/2/14.
Yesterday we noted a brown thrasher, yellow warbler and rose-breasted
grosbeak in our backyard. We also saw two eastern kingbirds, a common
yellowthroat, black-throated green, yellow-rumped and blackburnian warblers
on a walk down our road. A red-headed woodpecker called frequently from a
snag in a private wetland. The eastern meadowlarks were in full song too.
Lovely!
