It is presently 3:00PM, Thursday afternoon. 21 Long-billed Dowitchers are on a grassy island in the middle of impoundment MS4, on the west side of The Ottawa Auto Tour Drive, Lucas County. Since about 2:30PM they have flown back and forth from the toe of the slope along MS5, to their present location. They have given their call each time they have taken flight. The most recent time being flushed by a female Northern Harrier.

Bob Lane, Denise Lane, Jeff Harvey / Mahoning County, Ohio
