Hi all,
This afternoon while searching for shorebirds along Kuhlwein Rd. we
encounted a Lark Sparrow at edge of the road. It flushed giving us superb
views of its tail pattern (somewhat like a small E. Towhee) and went into
shrubs. We waited but did not get another look.

So much shorebird habitat, so few shorebirds!
Best,
