A male RUDDY DUCK has been seen on the big pond at Bath Nature Preserve in Summit Co. for at least a week now. No sign of a female.

I also encountered a YELLOW-BREASTED CHAT in the scrubby areas near the Ira Road parking lot.

Other birds of note seen/heard there over the past few days include: Sora, Purple Finch, Am. Kestrel, Wilson's Warbler, Northern Waterthrush, Mourning Warbler, Bobolink, Eastern Meadowlark, and nesting Bald Eagles.

Good birding-
Bryn
