We are not sure why, but Dan's message did not get sent to the listserv. Any ideas?

> Hello All... At about 10:30 AM today, the Franklin's Gull (reported yesterday by Troy Shively) flew into the Old Field Beach with several other Ring-billed Gulls. In all, there were 120+ RBGU's and 1 Herring Gull on the beach, along with a Caspian Tern. This FRGU is in nearly complete alternate/breeding plumage, with some remaining white molting head feathers, and with an obvious pink 'blush' in the area of the breast. Hopefully this rather rare Ohio gull will remain for others to find/enjoy before it leaves for its' breeding grounds. You may have seen Troy's later today's post that the Franklin's Gull was not there when he checked in the PM, but he did find a single Willet on the beach. In the past, there have also been Whimbrels seen/found on the jetty's at each end of this beach area. Old Field beach is located on the W/SW corner of Indian Lake. The nearest town is Russel's Point, OH, on SR 33.
