There has been a strange bird sighted near Big Island Wildlife Area. at
Windy Acres Golf Course.

What follows are two texts from the owner of the course,my mom:

"As it flies along looks to be white with black wings and maybe black on
tale???"

"Is white with black wings and looks to be a water type but only seen
flying except once in a tree i think the tail may also be black."

After receiving a call from her, she said it was about the size of a goose,
and she only got a few glimpses of it as it was flying through the golf
course. It may or may not have at one point landed on a tree, She doesn't
think it was as big as a swan, or was a domestic duck/goose, since she
knows the domestics that are in the area.

All I can say is that if you are in the area, don't be surprised to see a
out of place goose, pelican, stork, or crane type bird....and send me a
picture so that I can get confirmation from her. :-D

Thanks all.

Happy Birding and God Bless!

Steve J.
