There were three sharp-tailed sparrows at the Bluffs this afternoon. They were at the south end of an extensive wet meadow that extends from the north end of Lane Road and runs southwest all the way to the woods. They were a little north of the woods where the meadow is dominated by sedge and soft rush. Two were in the same shrub briefly and the third was about 100 feet north of that. One may have briefly sang as I heard an odd buzzy song from that area shortly before seeing them. I also had a sora and a grasshopper sparrow in the same general location.

There were a lot of warblers along the woods that border the east and south sides of the big field west of Lane. I had a Connecticut and several mourning warblers. I went through the woods and for every warbler I had I had 20 redstarts. I did find a prothonotary warbler and a northern waterthrush. Also of note was a sapsucker and brown creeper.
