The Golden-winged Warbler, first seen by Gabe Leidy on May 24 (reported on May 26 and then twice by others on May 27), was again relocated today (May 31) in the same clearcut, north of Long Ridge Road in Zaleski State Forest in SE Ohio. Thanks to Paul Gardner, Jeff Grabmeier, and Bill Whan for pointing out this life bird to me! There was agreement that the bird showed territorial behavior, as it repeatedly sang from exposed snags of dead trees between about 6:30 and 9:30 am.

Good birding
