I was at Lake Metroparks Lake Erie Bluffs Park today. There was a light
north wind off the lake so I wasn't expecting much, but it was pretty good.
I had four sandhill cranes fly over, single long-eared and northern saw-whet
owls, two northern harriers, merlin, and Wilson's snipe. Not a lot of
warblers, only seven species. Also of note were three different pairs of
yellow-bellied sapsuckers appearing to be on territory. For directions see
lakemetroparks.com
