While looking for Upland Sandpipers at Bolton Field this morning, I found a Yellow-Headed Blackbird. It was toward the north end, on the freshly mowed grass, with Red-Winged Blackbirds and Eur. Starlings, near signs that read “B A” and “22-4,” though of course it’s likely moved since. Photos (bad ones, unfortunately) are in my eBird checklist:

The Upland Sandpipers were much closer in, between the apron where the planes are parked and the runway.

I was advised while there that it’s a good idea for people with scopes, etc., to check in with Brenda at the front desk so they know what you are up to.
