Not too much of interest this warm weekend.

I made a quick trip to battelle Darby MP to try for the Henslow's Sp mentioned by the mcnultys. I believe I heard one near the bison area they mentioned but there was a lot of foot/bike traffic so I didn't linger long.

Saw/heard Willow & Alder FCs. Dipped on Blue Grosbeak but had nice views of a male Orchard Oriole that was singing. E Meadowlark.

Today I tried again for Henslow's near the county line spot mentioned by Robert Royce SE of Logan. I heard them but not lucky enuf to see one. Plentiful E Meadowlarks & field sparrows.

After my GPS' misdirections, I finally arrived at the Golden- winged Warbler spot in Zaleski SF (also R Royce) just as the morning was getting too warm. I ran into a couple other birders coming out who had had good looks earlier at az Golden-winged. I had to settle for hearing one sing several times but only a brief glimpse before it fell silent.

Saw a chat close briefly as well as seeing a display flight. Prairie, Chestnut-sided, Blue-winged, ovenbird, B&W, yellow heard. Red-headed WP.
