Great news!  I'm sure those rails will apreciate it.

I wonder how much it's going to cost them to leave that hay uncut, and
whether tips (the monetary kind, not the advice kind ;-) ) from visiting
birders wouldn't help offset those losses?  Just a thought ;-)
