Hello All... Those who have read earlier posts to Ohio Birds today are most likely aware of the Pipe Creek Red Knot (found today), and another? Marbled Godwit, also seen there today... both were in Unit B (closest to the Cedar Point Amusement Park). In addition to these birds, and a decent variety of the more expected shorebirds,an almost 'entirely' white Barn Swallow was seen again today, among other Barn Swallows. This rarity does have just a few noticeable 'darker' feathers on the head and body, and was first seen by several of us on Monday, August 18th. If you happen to be birding at Pipe Creek during these last few days of August (and before the area will be 'closed for Teal season', on September 1st?), keep your eyes open for this mostly 'white bird', among the feeding/foraging Barn Swallows there, especially in Unit C. This unusual bird is not hard to 'pick out' among the other Barn Swallows! And if anyone can get a photo of it, that
would be great (for the record)!

Good Birding,
Dan
