A single Laughing Gull was hanging out with a group of Ring-billed Gulls on
the beach at Deer Creek State Park this afternoon. Hopefully, it sticks
around for others to see. It seemed unfazed by several beachgoers. An
eBird checklist with photos is available here:

The middle wetland of Deer Creek Wildlife Area continues to hold shorebirds,
but the water is drying up quickly. Mainly Killdeer were present today,
with a few Least, Semipalmated, and Spotted Sandpipers, along with a single
Lesser Yellowlegs and four Semipalmated Plovers.

Good Birding,
Alex Champagne
