There was a glossy ibis reported on Friday at Ottawa NWR.  I learned of it today and we checked and it is present this afternoon.  It is feeding on the north side of Pool 2A, this is the unit along Crane Creek farthest from the parking lot, the most north westerly unit if that makes more sense.

Also,  there were snowy egrets scattered around the trails but at least 28 were present in 8B, just west of the parking lot.

And the other exciting sight was a flyby American bittern just east of the ibis location.
