Tuesday, Sept. 2 - 8:45 to 10:30 a.m.

What a beautiful morning.  The rain has increased our shorebird  "puddle",
and we had a decent selection of species.

Bald eagle - 1 adult
Belted kingfishers - 5
Great egrets - 12
Great blue herons - over 100
Green-backed herons - 3
DC cormorants - 15
Ring-billed gulls - 6
Wood ducks
Mallards
Canada geese
Killdeers - many
Semipalmated sps - 15
Lesser yellowlegs - 5
Greater yellowlegs - 1
Baird's sp - 1
Pectoral sps - 2
Red-shouldered hawks - 4
Red-tailed hawk - 1
Cooper's hawk - 1 (North Park)
Osprey - 1 (North Park)
Belted kingfisher - 1 (North Park)
Song sparrow - 1 (North Park)
