Ray Hannikman reports the Northern Wheatear still present today, Monday morning, along the beach towards the lighthouse/breakwall. For those not familiar with Headlands Dunes State Nature Preserve, the name of the preserve says it all....respect (!) the rare dunes habitat. The location is one of Ohio's top birding locales and rare plant/habitat communities.
