There aren't many shorebirds at Wilderness Road in Wayne County now, but
among them were 2 Buff-breasted Sandpipers and 2 White-Rumped Sandpipers
this morning. Other birds were Pectoral Sandpipers, Killdeer, Lesser
Yellowlegs, and a Semi-palmated Plover. Nine immature Bald Eagles were in
the area, as well as a pair of Sandhill Cranes, Great Egrets, Great Blue
Herons, a Cormorant.

Having missed the Buffies when they were reported earlier, these gorgeous
birds were a particular treat to watch. Wilderness Road is directly south
of Funk Bottoms, Wayne County.
