I was kayaking up at the Hoover Reservoir early today and found 4 Golden Plovers on the island that normally forms north of Pelican
Island when the water draws down. It is only accessible by boat right now unless you have some hip waders and then it could be
reached from the east shoreline. There was also Semipalmated Plovers, a couple of Sanderlings, Pectoral and Least Sandpipers, a few
Lesser Yellow Legs and Killdeer. Lots of Killdeer. Also 4 Bald Eagles and too many Blue Herons and Great Egrets to count.
