More later, but within 7-8 miles offshore we plowed through massive flocks of Bonaparte's Gulls and Common Terns and had nonstop looks at jaegers around the boat- at one point 6 Parasitics in view. The final tally was 15 Parasitic Jaegers including an adult, a stunning subadult Long-tailed Jaeger, 4 unidentified jaeger species, 7 Sabine's Gulls (1 adult, 6 juveniles), an adult Little Gull and several Black Terns. This within 2 hours of observation before we were shutdown by strong winds and large waves, and came back to port.
