This is just a quick reminder about the up-coming Ohio Avian Research Conference on Saturday, October 18th at the Samson-Talbot Biology Building on the campus of Denison University in Granville, Ohio.  http://tuckercasey.wix.com/aacri-birds#!oarc2014/cd8o
Our agenda for oral presentations is quickly filling up.  There are only four, 15-minute time slots left.  
The deadline to register to attend the conference is Friday, October 10th.  After October 10th their will be a late fee assessed which will increase costs to $25.00 for students and $35.00 for adults with no lunch option.
This year's conference is sponsored by the American Ornithologist's Union, the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, The Nature Conservancy, Kaufman Field Guides, Columbus Audubon and East Central Ohio Audubon Society, and is endorsed by USFWS-Ohio, USFWS-Migratory Bird Division, and the Ohio Bird Conservation Initiative (OBCI).
This conference is an opportunity to bring together professional academic, non-profit and agency researchers with students and citizen scientists to share their respective knowledge and hard work with one another, and with others who may be interested in furthering their own knowledge and understanding of birds and the world they live in.  Most importantly we want you to come and have a good time.
