Took a trip to the Wilds today in Muskingum County, as well as surrounding AEP lands. Highlights of the day were a single Snow bunting (these are uncommon there even later in the season) - this was a personal early record for me. Also, 187 Ring-necked ducks in a large pond off of Zion Ridge Road. Tons of turkey vultures, but no Golden eagle(s) yet, nor shrikes or Rough legged hawks. Just one Harrier for the day. Savannah sparrows were singing though which was nice.
