I did not manage to locate the LBBG reported yesterday but was surprised to find a group of 20 Franklin's gulls resting on the beach with the rest of the ring-billed, Bonaparte's, and herring gulls. Also a large raft of coots made it's way to the beach and mingled with the gulls.
