This turned out to be a life bird for me! Thanks to Scott Huge and Dick
Hoopes for "putting us on the bird" yesterday. Diagnostic pics at

The Franklin's Gulls reported in Ohio recently seem to be hanging around
awhile at the different places reported. Hope you can get over to LaDue
Reservoir and see these guys. They have been on the "gull sandbar" located
on Valley Road, north end of the reservoir. During the short time I was
there these two birds took off several times and landed again, for no
apparent reason - just seemed skittish. The Ring-billed gulls and Killdeer
on the sand bar either slept or kept feeding, not perturbed in any way.
