Readers--
        I've been asked to pass along a petition from another location along
Lake Erie, where birders are among those resisting the eradication of
another one of the Lake's remaining wilder habitats. If you think we
have built enough condo retreats and ritzy restaurants for yachtsmen at
the expense of public undeveloped space, you may want to add your voice
to those of the folks of Buffalo. We could be next...
