The Black Scoter (female) remains at Lake Cable. The bird tends to stay on the left side of the little lighthouse in the middle of the lake when viewed from behind Jose's Landing (bar) on Fulton Rd. in Stark County. The bird will appear similar to a female or winter plumage Ruddy Duck, but larger. A scope is required. There is a raft of 50+ Ruddies on the lake too, as well as 2 Lesser Scaup.
