During late morning the White Pelican was in the Gt Miami River, sitting on the only exposed large tree branch in the water, just north of the Stewart Street Bridge. In early afternoon it was several hundred yards farther north (upstream) almost to the US 35/Washington Bridges, swimming along the Edwin Moses Blvd side of the river.
