When I left home this afternoon, it had finally stopped raining. As I
headed for Cleveland, it started again raining cats and dogs! Between 3
and 3:30PM, it stopped again so I stopped at the Cleveland Public Power
Blg. Two Peregrine Falcons were on the breakwall. 15 Common Loons were
inside the breakwall. Below a list seen:
Cleveland Public Power, Cuyahoga, US-OH

Protocol: Stationary
Comments: Cloudy, 50 degrees, rain stopped for this 1/2 hr.

Canada Goose 35
Mallard 4
Red-breasted Merganser X Long strands flying west to east; most I've seen this year
Common Loon 15 All inside the breakwall
Horned Grebe 30
Double-crested Cormorant 1
Great Blue Heron 1
Bald Eagle 1
Bonaparte's Gull 49
Ring-billed Gull X
Belted Kingfisher 1 Heard only
Peregrine Falcon 2 Perched on breakwall; probably a pair
Sally Isacco, Concord Twp., Chardon
