Landbird migration is at the very endgame, while waterbird migration continues to be spotty. The lower reservoir had hardly anything besides 2 Common Loons and 50+ Ring-billed Gulls. Even the spillway below the dam was largely empty. The honeysuckle bushes next to the spillway had attracted a fair # of Robins and waxwings, but little else was with them. A Cooper's Hawk was shadowing the flocks, and it was amusing to watch the flocks move around away from its changing locations. Inniswood had hardly anything other than lots of woodpeckers. The feeders are not out here yet, so the small bird total was paltry. Hopefully the changing weather this weekend will push new stuff into the area.
