I checked out the lake at Buck Creek State Park in Clark County for a little
while this morning. There was a Red-throated Loon see from near the
visitor's center on the west side of the lake near the dam. There were also
several Common Loons. There are lots of Bonaparte's Gulls at the lake and
lots of American Coots. There was a flock of ducks far out on the lake. I
could identify Mallards and Buffleheads but there could have been other
species. At the north end of the lake on the mudflats, I found two Greater
Yellowlegs.
