Interesting day. Things started out decent and then by 9:00 things stalled
quick. Although nearly 2000 mergansers were counted, they were in eight
large flocks. Birds of note were 4 red-throated loons flying together in a
loose flock low over the water headed east. Also of note was an eared
grebe that passed by on the lake.
