There have been several recent reports of fox sparrows being seen in the
counties along Lake Erie. Today, I had a beautiful fox sparrow under my
feeder in Wooster feeding with white-throated sparrows, house sparrows and
juncos. That is the first fox sparrow that I have ever seen on my property
in 30 years of watching here.
I also had a brown creeper on my backyard trees today, which is always a
good sighting here. Randy Rowe, Wooster
