DECEMBER 26, 2014 - Cuyahoga Valley National Park & Metro Parks, Serving Summit County Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail from Rockside Rd. in Valley View south to Merriman Valley in Akron.(NOTE: This is not the Monthly Cuyahoga Valley Towpath Census, rather a pre-hike practice run for a Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation hike/census I'll be doing in May for my niece that will be from Dover, Ohio north to Lake Erie - the entire Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath length.)TIME: 8:00am-5:15pm TEMP.: 28-50-46 COND.: Brisk early, warming throughout; sunny with blue skies & unseasonably warm.FT.MI.: 22.0 OBS.: Douglas W. Vogus.I. MAMMALS: 7 SPECIES.
