   Blendon Woods Metro Park is located in the northeast corner of Columbus
off of I 270 & Rte 161. Take the Little Turtle Way exit. Below is a list of
some of the birds seen these past days.

            Lake Trail

                  Red-headed Woodpecker-young
                  Red-tailed Hawk-adult



            Thoreau Lake
                  American Black Duck-151
                  Mallard-52
                  Green-winged Teal-3 male,female
                  Hooded Merganser
                  N Shoveler
                  Gadwall-6 male, 4 female
                  Pintail-male


          Thoreau Lake-East Blind-Bird Feeder area
                  Brown Creeper
                  Yellow-bellied Sapsucker

          Nature Center Bird Feeding area
                  House Finch-male
