The Ohio eBird Hotspot web site has new features.

http://ohioebirdhotspots.wikispaces.com/Birding+in+Ohio

The home page now features a list of the 20 most popular birding locations
in Ohio including the number of species reported to eBird at these
locations. In many cases (such as Magee Marsh Wildlife Area or the Cuyahoga
Valley National Park) I have compiled the number of species reported at all
the hotspots in the location.

On each county page there is a list of the 5 locations in the county with
the most species reported to eBird. These are individual hotspots, so in
some cases there are sub-locations listed for a primary location.

There are similar web sites with information of eBird hotspots in Arizona,
Colorado, Georgia, Missouri, New Jersey, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode
Island, and South Dakota at

http://ebirdhotspots.wikispaces.com/

About half of these web sites are still under development. If you are
traveling to any of these states, you may find the web pages helpful in
planning where you will bird.

Ohio birders have added several new shared bird reporting hotspots to
eBird.
