I have also noticed a decline in sparrows. I have only seen a
white-throated sparrow on two occasions all winter. No other sparrows
around my feeders. Last winter I regularly saw both a male and female
towhee. Not this winter.
Gayle, I counted 61 goldfinches at my feeders today!
