We slogged around the trails at Blacklick Woods this afternoon, and this MetroPark southeast of Columbus had a fair bit of bird activity, especially at the feeders around the Beech-Maple Lodge and the Nature Center. The deep snow apparently pushed a lot of the smaller ground feeders to the feeder arrays. Aside from swarms of chickadees, titmice, White-thr,Sparrows, and Cardinals, more unusual fare included

BrownThrasher - 1 bird working the leaves under the eaves-line at the Beech-Maple Lodge
BrownCreepers - 2 at different points along the Beech-Maple trail
Yellow-rumped Warblers - 1-2 were along the Beech-Maple trail
E.Towhees - 4 birds, with 2 at each feeder set
Tree Sparrows - 3 at the Nature Center Feeders
Red-winged Blackbirds - 2 males were in the throng of sparrows & cardinals at the Nature Center feeders
