Saw a lot of Dark Eyed Juncos and Cardinals out feeding today. It was
unlike them though to be strictly eating mostly suet and seed cake. The
Juncos were super cute kicking the snow with their legs/feet to uncover
seeds as they foraged in tall snow for them. Saw several Cardinals, Blue
Jays, Downy & Red Bellied Woodpeckers & Doves out eating in the midst of
the heavy snow. Their beaks were covered with snow as they tried to get
their food.
