FEBRUARY 01, 2015 - Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge Monthly Census.ROUTES: East and west sides with limited coverage; no afternoon coverage due to Winter Storm Linus.TIME: 8:00am-12:00pm TEMP.: 30-28 COND.: Windy with snow; visibility less than a 1/4-mile; windW/SW at 15-20mph; all impoundments frozen; Lake Erie was frozen except for one small stretch ofopen water. OBS.: Linda Benner, Donna Kuhn, Dave & Kim Myles, Lisa Phelps, Al & Betty Schlecht(all morning only - refuge closed at 11:30am).I. MAMMALS: 4 SPECIES.
