A bit late, and not an Earth shattering report, but an interestingly weird
one.

I came out of Bob Evans in Marion on Tuesday to the sound of a loud bunch
of nasally noise making American Crows. Knowing it wasn't their typical
call, I looked to see what was getting them so upset...a Beautiful
Red-shouldered Hawk was perched in a branch, trying it's best to ignore the
Crows. At one point there were three crows in the branches giving the hawk
all sorts of wherefores and whatnots, to no avail it seems. the hawk stood
it's perch and didn't budge. :-)

Fortunately I had my camera in the car with a fresh battery...which was
under the tree the bird was in. I was able to get into my car and get my
camera, fire off a few shots, show my wife...who had never seen one
before...and leave without disturbing it. It made for an enjoyable dinner
and a movie experience. :-D

I posted a few pictures on eBird below, but they are also here as well:

And because I had never really gotten a picture of a Crow, I decided to get
a couple of those too. :-D :

Anyhew, Have a great rest of the week!

Happy Birding and God Bless
