Yesterday afternoon, February 6, a Field Sparrow came to feed at the seed on the ground here at home. A Black-capped Chickadee was heard singing in the morning.

On January 23, a male Red-Winged Blackbird came to the feeders.

Earlier this week, on February 3, a mixed flock of about 150 Common Grackles, Brown-headed Cowbirds and European Starlings paid a visit.
