The four Short-eared Owls at Armleder Park are still putting on their nightly show. At dusk (tonight it was 6:18pm) they lift out of the north field, circle once or twice, and then fly directly towards Lunken Airfield, where presumably they spend the night hunting. Their floppy, erratic flight is unmistakable.

Before the owl display, we saw a Bald Eagle, Red-tailed Hawk, Cooper's Hawk, American Kestrel, and a Northern Harrier.
