At Evans Park, Hebron, I saw a beautiful great egret in breeding plumage
along with 20 shovelers and 10 scaup. Yesterday at Maple Bay, Buckeye Lake,
I saw 6 horned grebes in breeding plumage, 6 red-breasted mergansers, 2
blue-winged teal, and lots of shovelers and coots. Today at Maple Bay, 60
cormorants flew overhead.
