There is also access to the east side of the reservoir via the Prairie Restoration Nature Trail.

Enter the Hoover Below Dam area from Central College Rd. Turn right at the stop sign. Follow the drive to the last parking lot. Find the trial head at the end of the parking lot. Follow the trail all the way to the reservoir. At the fork in the trail, either fork leads to the same place.
