Unexpected surprises yesterday!
2 Sandhill Cranes in North Ridgeville in corn field at intersection of Center Ridge and Race Road. They are very light brown, no grey at all. Literally 20 feet from the road.
Also, in Avon Lake there is a very small pond at the intersection of Moorewood and Canterbury. I picked up my daughter at school and couldn't drive by this pond without getting out, and I'm really glad I did. Redhead, Greater Scaup, Canvasback and Hooded Merganzer all on this tiny neighborhood pond! Easy to view and fun experience for kiddos!!
