There was a first yr. White winged scoter loafing on a pond off my driveway on Johnson road (franklin township)(Kent). It was there at 5:30 am as I left for work. Anyone interested in seeing can respond and I will try to give you directions, but I will not be checking emails all day. If you do come please do not get out of car because it will scare off any waterfowl that is present. It was the only bird on the pond last night. Though I regularly get ring necked and redheads,CAGOS.

Shrike is still present as of. Yesterday on 303 ,streetsboro also.
