I went for an early walk around the property before it rains, hoping for a woodcock but not. Last year Lou had one while I was still in Cincinnati. What a symphony!
Red bellied, downy, flicker, Carolina wren, red winged blackbird, grackle, crow, Cardinal, house finch, song sparrow and robin were all vocal. I did find one last pair of tree sparrows.
