At least four of the Red-throated Loons reported earlier by Alex Champagne
are still present at Hoover Reservoir. The parking area south of the Walnut
Street boat ramp is probably the best location as of mid-day, and the birds
are actively feeding all the way across the reservoir. The largest number I
saw together was three, with the fourth much further north.
