At the intersection of S Woodland and Warrington, two Fish Crows sitting
side by side with some billing behavior, one giving the nasal single and
double noted calls.  Also a grated call given by both.  Still here but now
more widely separated.  As I watched, more Crows flew in, three more Fish
Crows and one American Crow (AMCR).  The AMCR sat above the Fish Crows,
gave a good old "caw-caw" call several times before leaving and was notably
larger and with a bigger bill than the smaller Fish Crows with thinner
bills.  Good close side by side comparison.  Despite or maybe due to the
competition, the Fish Crows continued with their nasal "cah" and cah-ha"
calls.  When the Fish Crows opened their wings and flew I could see the
more pointed wing-tips due to p9 being equal to or longer than p5.  In
comparison, AMCR has a more rounded wingtip when spread due to p5 being
longer than p9.  I was able to see this at relatively close range.  This is

BTW, the Fish Crows stayed at this location from about 12:06 till 12:30.
Now two are back as I am leaving at 12:45.  Still giving distinctive Fish
Crow calls.  Great stuff!
