Today the Darke County Birders took a birding outing to the above places.
Here are Highlights.

At a lake on Purk Road on the east side of 235, we found one common loon
with other ducks.
At Kiser Lake, we found a great egret, common mergansers, horned grebes,
another common loon, and two eastern Phoebes.
At flooded field west of Russell's Point, we can add Tundra Swans to a
previous list from yesterday, but we didn't find the white-fronted geese.
On Indian Lake, there were more horned grebes, common Golden Eyes,  DC
cormorants, etc.
At St. Marys Fish Hatchery, there were  2 Boneparte Gulls, Can. geese on
nests, Buffleheads, Hooded Mergansers
Grand Lake: Bald Eagle, Gr. Blue Herons,
Woods Road In Darke Co.   -   Bald Eagle, Mute and Tundra Swans, Red heads,
Ring-neck ducks, Lesser Scaulp, N. Shovelers, Am. Widgeons, Coots, kestrel,
Blue-wing teal, Green-wing teal, Black Ducks,

At most of the places, there were coots, Ring-neck ducks, Redheads, Lesser
Scaulp, Mallards, Can. Geese,
